And for those of you who think Mona's no match for Spencer in the long run, remember what PLL EP Oliver Goldstick told me: "What's great about Mona is that she's kind of like the bizarro Spencer in some ways. Grammys Flashback: Alicia Keys 2002

Alicia Keys was an instant success in the music industry. The soulful R&B from her debut album, Songs in A Minor, swept across the nation as a refreshing breeze. People everywhere fell in love with her sweet music and so did The Recording Academy.

After Songs in A Minor peaked at No. 1 on US charts and in the Top 10 in charts around the world and sold millions of copies, Keys was nominated for six awards at the 2002 Grammys, including Best New Artist and Record of the Year.

PICS: Stars Set to Perform at Grammys

Not only did the R&B singer win Best New Artist as expected but also took home four other Grammys, including Song of the Year for "Fallin'" and Best R&B Album. The only award she wasn't granted that year was Record of the Year.

Nevertheless, Keys' grand total of five Grammys tied her for first with Lauryn Hill on the list of most-awarded females in a single night.

"I don't know if it will ever quite sink in," Keys says to ET's former correspondent Jann Carl backstage after winning the awards. "I'm just very, very honored and very excited about this year and the years to come."

VIDEO: Alicia Keys: I Have to 'Bust My Ass' To Stay Fit

Keys was joined on that list by Norah Jones the following year and Beyonce the year after that, and two more would join the club before Beyonce exceeded all with six Grammys in 2010, which was then tied by Adele two years later.

Regardless, Keys started her music career with a bang with a stellar debut album and a handful of Grammys. Among the presence of music legends Stevie Wonder, U2, and Bob Dylan that night, she wanted "stand the test of time" like they had.

And she has.

Over a decade later, Keys has had four albums peak at No. 1 on the charts, has sold over an estimated 30 million albums, and has won fourteen Grammys from twenty-seven nominations.

Keys is currently No. 4 on the list of all-time female Grammy winners, trailing just behind Beyonce and Aretha Franklin.

One can only assume that she'll continue to climb up that list next year for her latest album Girl on Fire.

Grammys Flashback: Justin Bieber 2011

Amid the hoopla over Justin Bieber's Grammy snub this year for his album Believe, let's flash back to when he was nominated. Two years ago, the teen pop sensation received two nominations for his debut album, My World 2.0, and performed at the show. Best of all, he came dressed for the occasion.

After sweeping the charts with his singles "Baby" and "One Time," the then-16-year-old singer was nominated for the treasured Best New Artist Award as well as Best Pop Vocal Album. While he didn't win either award, he took pride in his performance--and his attire.

PICS: Stars Set to Perform at Grammys

"I was like, 'I want a cream suit and I want it [to]...look like...James Bond,'" Bieber says. "I'm not feeling as cool as James Bond. He's like the coolest, and plus, he has a gun and I don't have a gun."

Like a cold-blooded professional, though, the young pop star reveals that he wasn't at all nervous for his first Grammys performance. As he assesses, performing is routine for him.

Grammys Flashback '11: Black Keys Get In and Out

"I don't really get nervous," he says. "It's kind of like second nature now [because I'm] just always performing. ...At first I got nervous, but [I don't] anymore 'cause...once you do it for so long, it's like riding a bike. You don't get nervous when you a ride a bike 'cause you just do it all the time."

The Best New Artist Award was granted to jazz artist Esperanza Spalding that year and Best Pop Vocal Album went to Bruno Mars.

Nevertheless, Bieber impressed with his performance, confidence, and attire that year, and can look forward to more nominations in the future.

2. Nicole Kidman on Her Lap Dance for Jimmy Kimmel

Nicole Kidman raised eyebrows during Matt Damon's Jimmy Kimmel Live! takeover when she greeted Kimmel -- who was strapped to a chair -- with a lap dance. On the SAG Awards red carpet, the Oscar winner explained the move to Nancy O'Dell.

Kidman described the dance as "impromptu," saying that she was just following the lead of another one of the night's guests.

"Robin Williams had done it before, so I thought, 'Well, why not?'" Kidman explained.

For years Kimmel has had a running joke where he ends every episode by apologizing to Matt Damon for running out of time for him. On last week's special episode of the late-night show -- nine years in the making -- Damon recruited some friends (which included Andy Garcia, Sheryl Crow, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Robert DeNiro, Sarah Silverman, Demi Moore and Oprah Winfrey.

4. Jennifer Lawrence Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction

It seemed like disaster for Jennifer Lawrence when her dress came apart just as she was called up to accept the award for Best Actress during the 2013 SAG Awards.

The Silver Linings Playbook star's apparent wardrobe malfunction caught the eye of both Marion Cotillard and Nicole Kidman, whose reaction to the getup coming apart at the seams was caught on camera. No disaster, here, though -- it turns out the dress was designed that way! A source close to designer Dior told ET that the dress did not rip -- that it was made with different layers of tulle and satin.

This minor outfit hitch comes after it was announced that Lawrence, 22, has walking pneumonia, making this one of the best and worst weeks for the award-winning actress.

5. Kris Jenner Lands Talk Show

Are you ready for a daily dose of Kris Jenner?

According to a press release, the show will "offer daytime viewers a daily jolt of celebrity guests, fashion & beauty trends; plus a mix of lifestyle topics -- all through the distinctive and unpredictable perspective of Kris Jenner. 'Elementary': Lucy Liu, Jonny Lee Miller Preview the Post-Super Bowl Episode

Elementary
has been given the ultimate network honors this year by being slotted after the Super Bowl. The timeslot gives the show, which is in its first season, exposure to its largest audience, and stars Lucy Liu and Jonny Lee Miller tease a good show.

The post-Super Bowl timeslot has helped many new shows get on their feet, as the audience for the NFL's championship game has averaged well over 100 million viewers in the past few years. The Voice experienced the reward of the timeslot last year for its Season 2 premiere, which garnered a whopping 37.6 million viewers.

PICS: They Dated?! Surprising Celebrity Hookups

"I didn't understand completely what that meant that we were coming on after the Super Bowl because it's on a Sunday and our show comes on Thursdays," said Lucy Liu, who plays "Watson" in the Sherlock Holmes modern adaptation, "but...that only meant that [CBS was] incredibly excited and confirmed that they believe in the show."

With more eyes than usual on the new crime drama, Liu previewed the episode as amped-up in comparison to Elementary's previous thirteen episodes of its first season. More sex and action are to be expected.

VIDEO: Can Lucy Liu (Watson) Keep Sherlock Holmes Sober?

"I think it's dynamic in the way that it's still involves a procedural aspect of a murder," Liu revealed. "...There's a criminal that's unpredictable and that's what they are focusing on, and there's a side-story of Watson and her living situation...but there's a lot of sex and there's a lot of action in the show--more so than usual--and I think that dynamic actually plays really well into the Super Bowl."

While both Liu and Miller have previously been regulars on TV series, it has been a while for both of them since they have taken on a lead role on a show. Moreover, the two are acclimating to the nuances of this particular show.

VIDEO: Meet the Breakout Stars of the Fall TV Season

"It's a constant adjustment," said Miller, who plays "Sherlock Holmes" in the series. "... You're just getting in the flow and just understanding one episode and then someone hands you a new one which you're about to start in a few days. So, it's a great balance of being kept on your toes and keeping your head straight and discovering the characters."

Grammys Flashback: Rihanna 2008

There have been a few Barbadian natives and people with Barbadian descent to become stars over the years, but none have reached the cosmic heights of Rihanna. In 2008, the singer soared into the stratosphere with her first Grammy win, which sent her native Barbados into a frenzy.

Barbados has had successful entertainment personalities like musicians Grandmaster Flex and Doug E. Fresh, and also has star lineage if we include the Barbadian descent of LL Cool J, Cuba Gooding Jr., and even Gwyneth Paltrow.

PICS: Stars Set to Perform at Grammys

For some perspective, the island in The Lesser Antilles has a population of less than 288,000 (roughly the same as St. Paul, Minn.) and is a mere 166 square miles, which is small enough to fit nearly three times over in the city of Los Angeles alone.

Therefore, it's a collective celebration when triumph comes to Barbadian stars.

Only one Barbadian musician had won a Grammy prior to Rihanna (Jimmy Senya Haynes, Steel Pulse), so when she won for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Umbrella," Barbados erupted and then-Prime Minister David Thompson gave the singer a phone call to applaud her achievement.

VIDEO: Grammys Flashback '05: Kanye Wins First of Many

"Everybody's excited. The Prime Minister just called and congratulated me," she tells ET's former correspondent Mark Steines backstage. "It's so awesome. Everybody at home was just screaming. I cannot believe we did it."

Barbados would have plenty of reasons for celebration in the years to come, as Rihanna has won the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration award twice more ("Run This Town," "All of the Lights") and also won Best Dance Recording for "Only Girl (In the World)."

VIDEO: Grammys Flashback '10: Taylor Swift Makes History

Now with four Grammys and a streak of three consecutive years with an award, the Barbadian singer has another opportunity to bring celebration back to her native island with nominations for Best Pop Solo Performance ("Where Have You Been"), Best Rap/Sung Collaboration ("Talk That Talk") and Best Short Form Music Video ("We Found Love").

Rihanna Talks Chris Brown Relationship

Rihanna has come under fire for reuniting with her ex, Chris Brown, given their very public split, which involved police reports, hospital bills and a 20/20 interview.

But the Unapologetic singer is just that about this new phase of their relationship, telling Rolling Stone, "I'm not apologizing for [dating Chris Brown again]. I decided it was important for me to be happy and I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that. Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it."

Although Rihanna does understand why the public is having such a hard time accepting their reunion. "When you add up the pieces from the outside, it's not the cutest puzzle in the world," she says. "You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it's different now. We don't have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about sh*t. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don't want to lose that."

Given how much Chris has changed, the singer is hoping to get some of The Rihanna Navy back on his side. "He made a mistake, he's paid his dues," she says. "He's paid so much, people need to support and encourage him instead of criticizing and bashing."

Plus, she adds, "He doesn't have the luxury of f*cking up again. That's just not an option. I can't say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I'm pretty solid in the knowing that he's disgusted by that. And I wouldn't have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility."

Rihanna's issue of Rolling Stone hits stands on Friday.

'NCIS': Pauley Perrette and Brighton Sharbino on Young Abby

Pauley Perrette has been playing the role of endearing forensics specialist "Abby Sciuto" on NCIS for ten seasons now, since the show's premiere in 2003. As cherished as her quirky character is, the show doesn't explore into her past very often; however, viewers will have a rare opportunity to delve into her past as young actress Brighton Sharbino portrays a childhood Abby.

Perrette brought the young Sharbino along with her to ET for her first ever interview to talk about her upcoming episode as Abby on NCIS.

PICS: Star Sightings

"We really don't know much about Abby's past. It's the character with the least past development that we know of," Perrette said. "So, I was really, really super excited when they were like, 'We're going to show Abby as little.' I was like, 'Yay! Who's going to play her?'"

Perrette revealed that she and Sharbino struck a kinship when they were filming and she would come to the set on her off-days just to spend time with the young actress. While it was her first appearance on NCIS, Perrette said Sharbino did an excellent job of portraying her character's young counterpart.

The young actress has previously appeared on a few shows, including the Hannah Montana and The New Normal and will have two films coming out soon. She is the younger sister of The Touch regular Saxon Sharbino, whom she is determined to surpass in Twitter followers.

VIDEO: Pauley Perrette Spills 'NCIS' Secrets

As the crime drama's current rate of success, we may see Sharbino for many flashbacks to come, as the show is thriving in its tenth season and posting impressively high numbers in the ratings.

Perrette attributed the show's continual success to its analogous relationship to life with the various elements of action, humor, and drama combined in every episode. If anything, she assesses, people love the characters.

"Also, it's the characters," the 43-year-old actress said. "It's these characters that people feel like they know; they feel like they're their family. In between Tuesday to Tuesday, they're like, 'I wonder what those goofballs are up to.' You miss them. I miss 'em. I want to see what's going on."

Shortly after Bradley Cooper expressed interest (publicly) in portraying disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong in J.J. Abrams'upcoming biopic about the athlete, the producer/director confirmed to ET exclusively that he is indeed in talks with Cooper for the role.

Pics: Stars Take On Real-Life Roles

When asked about Cooper's interest in tackling the part backstage at the Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles, Abrams told ET's Christina McLarty "[Cooper] sent me an email and we've been talking."

Said Cooper to BBC News on January 22, "I would be interested in [playing Armstrong]. I think he's fascinating. What a fascinating character."

Paramount Pictures & Bad Robot (J.J. The author, a sports reporter from The New York Times, has covered the athlete over the span of a decade throughout Armstrong's struggle with cancer, years of doping allegations and ensuing lawsuits.

"I've consistently been impressed with J.J. as a filmmaker and storyteller," said George Lucas of Abrams in an official statement. "He's an ideal choice to direct the new Star Wars film and the legacy couldn't be in better hands."

In October, it was announced that Disney had acquired Star Wars creator George Lucas' company Lucasfilm Ltd. for $4.05 billion in cash and stock, in turn announcing that new Star Wars movies will be released. SAG Awards Flashback: Jon Hamm 2008

Jon Hamm's Mad Men role of "Don Draper" changed his life. After years of floating around in the acting world, he landed on a lead role on the period drama and has since been one of Hollywood's most popular actors. In 2008, it began with a flurry of fame, which he gratefully accepted.

The acclaim was instant. After the premiere season of Mad Men, Hamm and the show won Golden Globes, and he and the cast were nominated for two awards at the 2008 SAG Awards. It was a rapid rise, but Hamm was ready for it all and was reveling in it.

"You look stunning tonight. Can I just say that?" Hamm charms ET's former co-host Mary Hart, whom he had just met. "Blue is a great color. I'm on board."

PICS: 10 Best Dressed TV Characters

As for the reason that he was standing on the platform and charming Mrs. Hart to begin with, Hamm says he's excited that Mad Men has been an instant success and that his role has been so overwhelmingly acclaimed.

"It is a big deal and it's exciting because so many people worked so hard on [the show]," he says. "It's nice to see it being recognized by the community at large, and it feels great."

While the show's interwoven themes of period-related misogyny and racism have been contested throughout the show's five-season run, it has nevertheless been a hit with critics and its loyal audiences.

VIDEO: Globes Flashback '08: 'Mad Men' Wins Together

"I'm very proud of the show," he says. "We try to be true to the era that it takes place in in the early sixties, and that's sort of what happened [then]. A lot of people talk about the smoking and the drinking and sort of gloss over the misogynistic aspects of it, but fortunately we've come a long way from that time."

While the show has been adorned in Golden Globes and Emmys over the years, it hasn't had as much relative success at the SAGs. The cast has won two SAG Awards for Best Ensemble in a Drama, but Hamm has never won the Best Actor Award despite being nominated for all of Mad Men's seasons.

SAG Awards Flashback: Helen Mirren 2007

Helen Mirren has received many accolades for her acting over the years, but no year was more special for her than 2007. The nominations and awards came crashing over the English actress for her roles as Queens Elizabeth I and II. Backstage after winning an award at the SAG Awards, Dame Mirren finds her king.

At that year's SAGs, Mirren was nominated for both of her Queen Elizabeth performances: Best Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries for Elizabeth I and Best Lead Actress for The Queen. She had just received Golden Globes for the two acclaimed performances and was nominated for what could be her first Oscar.

It was an exciting year for Mirren, who embraces her "Woman of the Year" tag from ET's former correspondent Jann Carl but wishes that the sweetness of her success weren't so concentrated.

VIDEO: Oscars Flashback '07: Helen Mirren and Jamie Foxx

Also having a career year for his acting was Forest Whitaker, who received a Golden Globe, SAG, and an Oscar for his role in The Last King of Scotland, which was also written by The Queen writer Peter Morgan.

Although he didn't literally play a king in the film, Whitaker takes on a royal persona when congratulating Mirren backstage for her win, spoiling her with compliments and kisses.

"There's nothing like that particular role," she says of her role as Elizabeth I. "...It demanded everything you had as an actress/actor and I gave it everything that I had, everything. It means so much to me for it to be recognized here in America."

RELATED: Helen Mirren to Play the Queen Again

Her success at that year's awards season was beyond mere recognition; it bordered more on the lines of idolatry. Or fittingly: worship.

Mrs. Mirren went on to win her other award that night for The Queen and also won the Oscar a few weeks later for her role in the film.

While she has since stepped down from her royal platform, she has another opportunity to add to her SAGs collection with a nomination for her leading role as Alfred Hitchcock's wife in Hitchcock.

SAG Awards Flashback: Alec Baldwin 2007

Alec Baldwin has been to a few awards shows in his time, so even though he was once again nominated for what might have been his first SAG Award in 2007, the 30 Rock actor was more interested in someone who was new to the awards scene, like 10-year-old first-time nominee Abigail Breslin.

Baldwin received first SAG nomination in 1996 and had accrued four other nominations over the years, so that he was nominated for two awards that year including his first for the new 30 Rock didn't beguile the longtime actor.

VIDEO: Alec Baldwin Weds Hilaria Thomas

"It's nice to come. It's a really nice, pleasant experience," Baldwin says to ET's former correspondent and current omg!Insider co-host Thea Andrews. "What's interesting is to see people like the young woman behind you who...it's a whole new experience for."

Mrs. Andrews then pulls the young Breslin, who was nominated for her first SAG Award and Oscar for Little Miss Sunshine, up on ET's platform to join in the interview with Baldwin--or rather, be interviewed by him.

While the young actress didn't win her individual award for Best Supporting Actress, she nevertheless won her first SAG Award that night as part of Little Miss Sunshine, which won Best Cast.

VIDEO: Alec Baldwin Admires SAG's Nude Statuette

Little Miss Sunshine herself must have been a ray of hope for her red-carpet buddy, as Baldwin also won his first SAG Award that night, for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for 30 Rock.

"My goodness gracious! I can't believe; I really can't!" he says to ET's former correspondent Jann Carl after winning the award. "...You never come expecting to win--never. You'd be happy if you did, but you never have any expectations."

Baldwin's unassuming mindset has likely altered since then, as he has gone on to win a SAG for all six seasons of 30 Rock, which gives makes him the most awarded actor in a single category in SAGs history (2nd: Julianna Margulies (4), Best Actress in a Drama Series).

To the surprise of none, Baldwin is nominated yet again for 30 Rock's seventh and final season.

SAG Awards Flashback: Anne Hathaway 2006

Anne Hathaway is currently one of Hollywood's top actresses, emphatically so with her latest hit film Les Miserables, so it's a bit strange to return to the beginning stages of her career. At her first major awards show, Hathaway is giddy to be there and reveals her pre-show snack.

Prior to the 2006 SAG Awards, Hathaway had walked awards show red carpets but never at a major awards show, which made her experience at that year's SAGs a thrill. The then-23-year-old actress was nominated as part of the cast of Brokeback Mountain.

VIDEO: Anne Hathaway's Short 'Do is Here to Stay

"I mean, I still can't get over that fact that I have a job, people know my name, and now Felicity Huffman likes what I did," she says after meeting the Desperate Housewives actress before the show. "It's really exciting."

Although she was ecstatic to be at her first major awards show, Hathaway wasn't expecting much but still relished the opportunity to get dolled up and enjoy an indulgent pre-show snack.

"It's a fun day; you're eating chocolate and sipping champagne. It's a wonderful experience," she says to ET's former correspondent Jann Carl. "I try to do that before these things 'cause then regardless of what happens--if you win or you don't--you're in a good mood."

Hathaway's chocolate and champagne would have to carry her throughout the rest of the night, as she didn't win her first major award that night and her Brokeback friends didn't receive any awards on the night as well.

The now-30-year-old, short-haired Hathaway has a good chance to win her first SAG Award this year, as she is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Les Miz.

Regardless, she'll be bubbly.

After acting and writing for Saturday Night Live for many years, she created her own comedy series in which she also starred, 30 Rock, and was graced with nominations at the ensuing awards circuit. How did she celebrate that momentous span of her career? With a cough drop.

As the comedic actress and writer stands on the red carpet at the 2008 SAG Awards with ET's former co-host Mary Hart, Fey had just won her first Golden Globe and was nominated for her first SAG Award that night for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

Fey wasn't present to receive her Golden Globe, so the SAG Awards was her first appearance on an awards red carpet that year.

"I appreciate getting to come out tonight and wear a dress," she says, then turning to humor. "I feel like...I won the other [awards] so if we lose everything tonight, I can still act like a big jerk and show off."

As she chats with Mrs. Hart on the platform, Fey also discusses the inception of 30 Rock, which will soon end its successful seven-season run. Commonly tagged as an underrated show, she mentions the show as being in a place of "trying to win people over," which is where it seemed to remain despite a loyal audience.

Nevertheless, Fey received her first SAG Award that night for the show.

"It's been crazy," she says of her awards show success, then not-so-subtly using her interview to plug a brand. "I'm sorry; I'm enjoying a Halls cough drop in celebration."

The amusing actress would have plenty more opportunities to drop a brand name after a SAG Awards acceptance speech, as she would go on to win the same award the following two years as well.
